
Walmart-AAPI
To further expand the success of Walmart’s DE&I efforts and to celebrate AAPI Month, we developed a social content series that celebrated and strengthened emotional connections with the AAPI community through the Walmart brand and its suppliers.
We received over 1,000,000 total video views (2.7x our views benchmark) and increased our local interaction rate to 5.15% with our AAPI-focused associates stories.
Through the meaningful weight behind their names, talents and skills they’ve developed, and food that brought their heritage and purpose together, our creators enlightened on their paths as members of the AAPI community.
We utilized external Walmart platforms, such as our “Supplier Series”
and Local/Regional Walmart social handles, to amplify our AAPI stories
with an omnichannel approach.

In conclusion, we received many positive comments from our audience and how our content resonated with their own connections with their identity.
